AGE Platform WHO Session: Towards An Age-Friendly EU


Carina Dantas has a degree in Law and post graduate studies in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She is Director of the Innovation Department of Cáritas Coimbra (Portugal) since 2011, a non-profit organisation that supports more than 20.000 persons/year, with about 950 employees and 150 volunteers. In Cáritas she is responsible for strategic planning; projects - creating, supervising and implementing national and international projects; and communication areas - media, digital platforms, internal communication, partnerships and networking. She is currently Cáritas’ project manager of GrowMeUp; Project Reduz Internal Evaluator; Member of technical and pedagogical council of CEARTE.
Since January 2016 she is also Vice-President of the European Covenant on Demographic Change, an organisation that aims to gather local, regional and national authorities as well as other stakeholders in order to cooperate and implement evidence-based solutions to support active and healthy ageing.
