Lambert van Nistelrooij (1953) is a member of the European parliament (since 2004). On behalf of the Christian Democrats (CDA) he takes part in the European Peoples Party. He has been a member of the municipality in Nuland and a member of the Provincial states of Northern Brabant. In the European parliament he has committed himself to regional development, internal markets and consumer protection. Mr Van Nistelrooij has also made a name as a fighter for regional interests.
